1 year, 245 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
The day has arrived and we were up very early to make sure we got to Orleans House just before 8.00am and that we would be able to park. In the event we were only the second car there and had no problem at all.
The buildings were locked at first and I could not work out where my stand had been allocated. Eventually Charlotte arrived and unlocked the Stables gallery. I was very pleased with my position which gave me enough space to put out both my spinner and floor rack for prints. It took us less than an hour to set up and then Colin had to leave.
It was a wait until 10.00am when the show opened but I made my first sale in the first hour and was doing so well that I had covered the cost of the stall by lunchtime and was well in profit by the end of the day. There were another 8 stands in the gallery and as I know a number of the people either directly or via social media we all got on very well. All in all a good start to the show although I was shattered come 5.00pm.
We went off the ‘Fat Fighters’ menu and dined on pizza and bread and butter pudding this evening!
