Day two of the Orleans House Christmas shopping weekend. This morning tI did not have to get up so early as the stand was all set up from yesterday. I fiddled and reorganised a bit first of all before going to find my friend Patrick in the other building to see how his one day stall was looking. He has made some stunning jewellery and his stand looked excellent.
I got back in position for the 10.00am opening and visitors started arriving soon after we opened. After that sales came fairly quickly and I sold another 2 framed montage prints and a number of prints. At one stag eI even had a queue - well only 2 people but they both had to wait!
Unfortunately the rain started pouring down mid afternoon and from that point the visitors started to dwindle but I did not mind as I had been busy to the extent that I had to recharge my iZettle and phone I as using to take card payments!
My friend Sarah came but looked really poorly as she was dosed up on antibiotics to try and help her Shingles. I hope she is well enough to come to the theatre on Tuesday. Colin also arrived at about 4.30pm and that gave me chance to go and have a very quick look at the rest of the stalls. I bought some little ceramic Christmas decorations for my friend Stephanie in Toronto as we always send a little something to each other each year. We held out to exactly 5.00pm when I started to pack up and it was certainly faster than setting up. Colin had managed to get a prime position in the car park and by half past we were ready to leave. Sarah and Patrick were getting a cab home and our car was full so we could not give them a lift.
I was shattered when we got back but I am relieved that it went really well and I think it is one of the best shows I have done. This is a montage of just some of the dogs that came to visit over the weekend!
