1 year, 247 days since the start of the 1st lock down in March 2020
Today I had the enjoyment of totalling up the cash taken over the weekend which was surprisingly more than expected as I though most people would pay by card. This has to be one of the best fairs I’ve done and even after deducting the price of the stand for the two days I’ve still done very well.
After the fun bit of money counting, I moved onto putting everything away which is always a lot quicker than getting it up together. The house is now clear and we even got the spinner back in the loft.
In the afternoon I carried on making up my quizzes for my photo club function next week - it’s a real challenge finding suitable questions - not too easy but not too hard either.
In the evening we met up for a long delayed meal with friends Richard and Anne at Piazza Firenze in the High Street. It’s been ages since we’ve been out for a meal with them and after initially being a little stilted in conversation, we soon were chatting away and catching up on all the news.
