Adaptive Reuse

Scott Elementary School, built in 1922, is the oldest surviving publicly-funded school for African-American students in Baton Rouge. Closed years ago, it sat vacant and boarded-up until its recent renovation into apartments. This is the back of the building; I love its simplicity and strength.
I love tha fact that there are still old buildings still standing

Great reuse of a school. Nicely captured.

yes it is a strong building...it is a shame that they closed the school...but at least they did not lose the building
