Creole Colors

This is Laura Plantation, Vacherie, Louisiana, one of the best plantation house tours in Louisiana. These are the original colors of the 1805 house--Creoles liked bright colors and lots of them!

My next few photos will be from Laura. This is the main house, but I usually like the smaller, weathered outbuildings better.

Thanks so much for your comments and favs of my recent photos. It means a lot to me!
I'm loving the colors!!

Beautiful photo, Diane. Love these places . . and I bet that you'll find some great weathered outbuildings too. We lived in Louisiana for a short time when my husband was in the Air Force. Lovely architecture and great food there.
