Don't get me wrong. Football (North American variety) has been wonderful for Brandon: it kept him busy, active and focused from third grade on. It's where he made his closest friends and learned his amazing work ethic. His skills earned him a college scholarship. But at 5'11" and 215 pounds, #55 sometimes looks small out there on the field....
Probably the nearest we get over here is rugby - but they don't have the helmets! I love this shot - especially the two top right! Is there a ball in there somewhere then?
Sounds like he got everything out of it. Sports (esp football) can do so much for kids. Getting a scholarship is huge. My oldest son plays college baseball.
Great shot- he's got some well developed calf muscles there!! I have a feeling he knows how to hold his own if he was talented enough to earn a scholarship!
Look at the effort and the energy in this shot! Fabulous catch, Diane. He really benefited from his skills. But as a mother, I certainly understand how you felt .. so hard to watch sometimes. That's our "baby" out there!! :)
Well yes compared to some heaftier guys your son doesn't look his height or weight..I feel the same way with my grandson's..they're hockey fanatics and I always say the same..great guys, wonderful friendships and off the streets..
