My husband goes to football games to watch the game (!) so he sits high in the stands so he can watch the plays unfold. I go to take photos, so I try to sit closer to the field. We have different perspectives and we meet different people.
On this night, I met an uncle trying to take cellphone pictures of his niece, a member of the the color guard. He asked me if I'd mind trying to get a shot of her--but I wasn't sure which one she was. He kept pointing to her, saying things like "She's the second to last one on the 20-yard-line" and then they'd move! I sure hope this is her, but in case it isn't, I sent him all the shots I took.
What a beautiful candid capture! Love your pov and the focal point ... amazing how the eye is drawn towards her. If you did a few, I'm sure that you caught the niece. And they will both be impressed by your pro style. Fabulous work, Diane. My husband and I would be in our own worlds too ... When I'm shooting photos, I'm in a world of my own.
