@joydnichols Wow! Can't wait to see the picture. Do you live near there? I was in Kansas for the KSU football game and took the day to drive around Topeka and then to Council Grove. I want to go back someday. When are the prettiest times of year?
Yes, we live about 45 minutes west of Manhattan KS. I was born and raised and have lived in Kansas all my life. I love it here. Do come back, and we'll explore the prairie together! My favorite time of year here is late May. The greens are greenest, it's warm but not too hot, and flowers are blooming.

I have only had the pleasure of driving through Kansas and a brief stop overnight but it was beautiful!!! I will never forget the fields of sunflowers! Great shot!
