Blowing a kiss to an indifferent world

A woman I met on the jetty who asked me to take her photo. Down on her luck, slurring her words at 8:30 in the morning, she was avoided by everyone else. She was pleased when I showed her the photo. Later I thought I should've done more....

Other than buying her breakfast, I think you did all you could. Sometimes just validating that someone is there is what they need most.
