Southern Gothic

Doesn't this look like a setting for a Eudora Welty short story? The Marchand House (c 1826) and adjoining Eagle Hotel (c 1850) in Washington, Louisiana is being renovated in a fascinating way, keeping lots of the old with elegant accents.
fabulous. love the contrast. The earth tones too then the spot of color in flowers. GREAT GREAT shot. One I could keep looking at over and over and seeing more and hearing awesome stories being told about this room. FAV for sure

Now that's texture. I love the juxtaposition of elegance and bare naked walls. Fav.
