My ginger survived!

I have a favorite ginger plant that I has lived at 3 different homes. It looked like our February freeze had killed it, but it's coming back!

you can grow ginger? Do you think it would grow in Georgia?

@margonaut This isn't an edible ginger. It's a nice leafy plant, easy to grow, and it has unusual flowers. I bought this one at a church fair and it made a nice shady place that the cats liked. I moved a small section to Florida where it did well. Then I moved 2 pieces back to Louisiana. I'm not a great gardener but just got attached to this plant.
