Double teaming or taking advantage of a busy hostess?

Today's photo started happened when I went out to photograph the oleander outside my workshop. As I was looking for a nice blossom, I noticed this gruesome scene.
I found the monster face Ms. Spider is sporting on her abdomen to be very interesting. It wasn't effective enough for Mr. Bee, though. I have no idea what the little fly thing is doing, but it has a little bubble of liquid as it does here in many of the photos I took. At one point, there were four of them messing about the poor bee. The spider did try to brush them away, so I think they were at cross purposes, or at least dipping out of her pantry.

What a tragedy for that lovely bee! Nature isn't always pretty...but you got a fascinating image!

@Weezilou Thank you very much. I too wish the spider had chosen something else for its dinner...maybe a centipede..or a roach.No one likes them except their mother's.
