This funky looking bee was on the lavender cotton this morning along with one of the fly creatures that was torturing the bee that Ms. Spider was eating the other day. The lavender cotton was covered with flying, nectar-sucking insects. I could have taken photos for hours. I don't know why it's called lavender cotton by the way...it is related to neither lavender nor cotton. CC is always welcome. Thanks for stopping by!
@LaLa I used a Nikon 105mm 2.8G. It is a new lens, and I am having a pretty steep learning curve with it. This surprised me, as I figured light and the way one interprets how it affects one's settings would be the same for every lens. Maybe I am a huge doofus, but I still haven't quite figured out the light/shutter speed ratio.
@evalieutionspics Well you can't really see the doofus part on this photo - it's very good. I'm with you though on the technical stuff, I'll just keep practicing and hopefully it'll come to me.
@LaLa Thank you for your encouraging words. I joined 365 to challenge myself to improve through "forced" practice. I have to say that both the daily exercise and the inspiration has been worth it.
