I was watching Mr. Sparrow while he was sitting on a palm frond singing a song, but he flew away before I got any good photos. As he did, Mrs. Sparrow hopped out on a frond on the other side of the tree, so I quietly moved over and set up to watch her. I got some nice photos and was taking some more "just in case" when all of a sudden, Mr. Sparrow came swooping in for some "morning delight."
Afterward, he very industriously began gathering materials to finish out the newlywed home, and she put everything where she wanted it.
I definitely will keep an eye on the couple over the next few weeks to see when the babes fledge. No chance to view anything before then the nest is in the top of a palm tree!
