I went outside this morning to get some basil for the parrots, glanced down and discovered that Sir Squintley had found how to slip his medicine under his tongue and hide it so he can spit it out when he gets outside. That meant I had to go on a search for him so I could give it to him again. He was not thrilled, and really, neither was I. But...I did see this lone dahlia in the morning sun. The color was pretty, but the black and white is much more striking.
