When I was a tiny girl, my favorite story book was "The Churkendoose", which is a story about a bird that is part chicken, turkey, duck, and goose. As the story moves along, he says, "It all depends on how you look at things." When my mama read it to me, she says, I always said, "Wook at fings?" To which she replied, "Look at things." It became a thing as I grew up...to remind us to look at both sides of a story. I am proud to say I can now properly say "look at things!"
I like my singing bowl. I enjoy playing it; I find it very relaxing. The sound soothes me and fills me with a peace which has nothing to do with meditation. My Guy, on the other hand, finds the sound absolutely brain freezingly irritating. In the interest of marital happiness and to keep his brain from freezing, I don't play it when he is home. :)
I thought this would make a good entry for the Macro-music challenge.
What a wonderful narrative and creative entry for the macro-music challenge. The bowl is beautifully depicted too - the bright yellow lime green shape in the background is just perfect contrast to the bowl itself - I never heard of a singing bowl.
