There seems to be a lot of need for that going on all around me. My 102-year-old grandma fell and broke both arms just below the shoulder 3.5 weeks ago, my daddy had his second hip replacement yesterday, and Winston had surgery last week on his spine to remove three discs which were pressing on his spinal cord.
Winston is resting in the sun after a visit to the dogtor who said he was doing very well.
I am off to the US to be with Grandma and Daddy and be their doer.
Oh my word! When it rains, it pours! Your poor grandmother with two broken arms...terrible! And your dad with a hip replacement. Poor Winston looks like he is doing the best by resting in the warmth of the sun. Don't forget to take care of yourself as well!!!
Just checking in. I missed this post and am sorry to hear of all these needs around you. I do hope that your loved ones are moving forward after their injuries/surgeries and that you are finding time to look after yourself too. Take care. This is a lovely image of Winston resting.
