Is this spider waiting for breakfast under the tree?

I went out to photograph this flower this morning but found it inhabited by this guy. It had wrapped its web around the outside flowerets then pulled them up, so it created a little flower bowl. He was quite happily ensconced inside awaiting the wee bugs that visited. He is only 3/8" front to back, to give you an idea of scale.

I can never choose to fave a spider as they give me the chills, but may I say it's 100% deserving on your part for getting such a perfect image!

@Weezilou Thank you, and I understand. Although they don't bother me, obviously, they do bother my son. He looked at it but deleted it so he wouldn't ever have to see it again. He says the skinny legged spiders bother him more. I agree; if I have a spider bias, it is definitely against skinny legged ones.
