The struggle with photographing in this pasture is avoiding the horse leavings, thistle plants (old and new), and stinging nettle.
This beauty was very happily surrounded by all three of those things. I am sure the lady pruning lemon trees in the orchard next me got a good laugh watching me contort my way clear of the obstacles.
