This is one taken a few days ago still playing with the ND filter. Photos were curtailed this afternoon as I managed to knock the tripod c/w camera into the river ... how stupid was that, they couldn't swim. At the moment I'm trying to dry them out by immersing them in 3 bags of rice which apparently can work on mobile phones, but the jury is out on cameras. Luckily I have my trusty D40 but my much loved prime lens is in intensive care after its dunking earlier today.
Thanks so much for all your great comments over the last few days, I really do appreciate them. Please bear with me as I'm getting behind in commenting, but will catch up hopefully in the next day or so.
Oh no, what a disaster for you. I've heard that rice or silica gel can help but it might take a while to dry out completely. Hope it works.
Lovely image.
So so sorry re your lens and camera. Hope they will be salvageable. I like the way you composed this with the balance between the big bush and the arch and structure. Nice in b and w too
A pretty B&W! Oh dear! My son did the same thing...he jumped in a swimming pool forgetting for 30 minutes that his electronic car key, wallet and iPhone were in his pocket! It too is in rice and I have not heard yet if it survived! I hope you have good luck! :)
