Tried something different - no camera involved. Created with a scanner and use of a few tweaks with Nik filters. I was surprised how some of the textures came out.
@judithdeacon@jacqbb If I can manage to do links, this should be the one I followed: https://digital-photography-school.com/how-to-use-your-flatbed...
In case it doesn't work, just lay anything you fancy playing with face down on the scanner glass, you don't have to be able to close the lid, just drape a piece of soft material over the top of everything, and press 'scan'. I did have quite a few attempts at this as the further away from the glass the fuzzier the image. Because the grain of the material came out quite well too I 'burned' these areas to make them darker and added a vignette. Sharpened in Viveza (free Nik filter download). Just a bit of fun, I was bored!
Very clever, thanks for the link. A friend of mine did a similar shot a while ago but I haven't tried it yet. You have reminded me to put it on the list of things to try.
