Now we have the two together. The banks around Clifford's Tower are covered with a carpet of daffodils, and here is a close-up of one of them, with the tower and other daffodils in the background.
The beautiful sunshine yesterday afternoon made it a delightful time to walk around part of the wall walk and enjoy our early spring, and to get some shots of the daffodils.
It's interesting to note that last year at this time we had a very cold spell with snow, with the daffodils appearing some 2-3 weeks later in York. Louise got a shot of a daffodil in her garden in High Wycombe in the snow - http://365project.org/fishers/365/2013-03-24. Quite a contrast between the two years.
