Katharine and I walked back home along the banks of the River Ouse in York a few evenings ago. The sky made an attractive subject, but I wanted to catch it's reflection in the river. The only place we found was at Clifton Bridge, where the river follows a sweeping curve. Vegetation beside the bridge meant the only place I could shoot from was below the bridge, so here it is, the view from below Clifton Bridge as it was on Thursday evening.
Thank you all for your kind and encouraging comments, and particularly for the favs. It was a lovely evening to walk by the river, and I was pleased to get this shot.
