The East Coast train operating company has been busy again with vinyl decoration on one of their locomotives.
This time they have named a locomotive 'For The Fallen' and have decorated it with images of the first world war. The nameplate has crests from five regiments who fought in the first world war and who were based along the East Coast route.
These shots were taken the same day as the steam locomotive shot posted on 4th December. This train came in at the platform that I was taking shots of the steam locomotive from, so I was in the midst of a large crowd, and getting these shots was therefore something of a challenge.
Excellent collage. These trains are really special. Thank you so much for sharing the photos and the information. I learn so much from following your (Fisher family) project! PS - the first link didn't work for me. Probably user error!
Thank you all for your king and generous comments, and for all the favs. To thos of you who tried to use the first link and found it didn't work, I apologise. I really should know by now how to do it properly! The link has now been corrected, so feel free to take a look at 'Skyfall'
