Spring is on it's way, but today we had our first fall of snow this winter here in York. The snow was falling heavily at breakfast time, but by 3pm it had almost all gone.
Here, leaves on one of the Queen Elizabeth roses in my garden have a covering of snow.
You must have had to be quick with your camera. We had a snow shower about lunchtime in the south but mixed with rain it didn't last long! This is a great capture.
It's good to hear from you - thank you for your lovely comments!
The snow is now long gone here in York, although there has been more on the hills to the west. Here, heavy rain lasted overnight and all day today, so it's been grey and miserable outside.
