Well, after yesterday's post of King Charles III in the scarecrow festival at Haxby and Wigginton, I thought somethin a little more serious was in order. I didn't watch the Coronation live yesterday, but I did watch the highlights later and took these shots from the tv. I think this was the first time I've taken photos from the tv, and it turned out to be something of a challenge. Anyway, this collage is a selection of the best shots that I took.
When creating the collage, I started with a cronological sequence, but that gave a rather unballanced result, so the next effort started with a random sequence, then modified to give a roughly chronologicalish result.
I watched the best moments on catch-up but my Italian friends watched the whole lot! Italians are crazy about the Royal Family and thought the coronation was fantastic fun. Fav.
Not easy to take good shots through a tv screen and I think you did a great job here. I have seen almost nothing of this but my wife didn't lose a minute.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
I didn't watch the whole event, the shots here are taken from highlights on tv later in the day. I have to say that I find the event quite spectacular - and it gave me chance to learn something new, taking photos from the tv.
