Another poinsettia, but this time a real one. Katharine was given this as a gift before Christmas, and it has survived three weeks of Katharine looking after it. It must be a hardy specimen! We have a long history of plants not surviving for very long at this house!
Beautiful....and I totally get that sense of achievement. I have never had any success with Poinsettia before but the one I was given the first Saturday in December is still smiling in the inside hall here. The temperature is pretty consistent there so perhaps that helps. I really don't know but I feels good 😄
Some do, some won`t. I`ve some of 40 years and others a season. But Pontsettia`s are grow to be replaced after. For example : they bloom when they are little and in winter. That`s not natural. But special done for the sale on time..
Looks beautiful and healthy. I think you have to keep it in a warm atmosphere to survive. Ponsiettas can grow into big trees here but as the years go by they use their beaty.
Thank you all for your lovely comments and favs, they are very much appreciated.
I've suggested before that buying a plant for Katharine is cruelty to plants, but at last one that has survived!
