Prompt 5 - Abstract

Abstract : the fifth prompt of Emma Davies 30-day composition challenge - Make your photos, don't just take them.

OK, so does this qualify as abstract? Recognizable, but more about shape & color, so that makes it abstact(ish), right??? ..(& for those of you who look at exif info...this was taken with a 50mm lens but with the addition of extension tubes.)

I think it is abstract - its qualities do not depend on being able to recognise the subject. Lovely colours and ambitious combining of challenges.

I just love this - it truly does have an abstract feel - and that diagonal streak of light which just catches the "tail" of the second item ties it all together so well. Gorgeous colour combination too!
