This is one for Phil & Francis !! I was going to do a complete new subject today but I am tired & it's cold & windy out so I'm being lazy so here is another Blackpool one ! These three dogs all had adornments round their necks. The smallest one had a neckerchief tied round like a cowboy & the three whippets had beautiful net bows & ribbons, they must have been lady dogs. Actually all three whippets looked a good age as they were walking very sedately & quietly. They had a good look at each other but I don't think they were as impressed with each other as much as the owners were !! I did think about cropping this photo more but decided not to as I wanted to give a feel of the promenade walk.
Looks very sunny and colourful too! Meeting new friends would have been a good title for my photo today too........and Jenny's. Would be lovely to have more to join us next time!!!
thanks for the mention Pat, it's nice to know you thought of your two whippet followers :). All the dogs look well behaved and from a photography point of view the lighting is rather lovely.
They might be greyhounds as they look tad tall for whippets.
@phil_howcroft Oh really Phil, I never gave a thought that they could be greyhounds! Now you mention it they were quite tall & bigger than I would have expected!
It does look as if the whippets are not at all interested in the smaller dog, perhaps it's a reflection of their owner who is maybe being more polite than friendly. Who knows? Always interesting to watch other people's body language.
They might be greyhounds as they look tad tall for whippets.
A very 'northern' scene :). Beautiful
