An update on Henry.
When our #1 son came back on holiday in the Spring from NZ he took pity on Henry & built him a shelter. The winters are long & he is getting on a bit now ...in his 8th year. Henry has very decidedly avoided it up until now but when I went past the field this morning he was testing it out! Brian will be thrilled when he hears & as it was a lovely warm quiet Autumn day I was surprised myself !
You can see the original photo with henry's story on last June 22nd post . Sorry I can't seem to copy & paste it !
Oh, what a sweet shot of Henry warming up to his wonderful new home! Love this photo! Marvelous textures and touches of color. And such a kind gesture on Brian's part to build this shelter for the aging Henry!
@mgozzard@peggysirk Thank you both & I was thrilled to see him sitting in it !! I can't seem to copy & paste the original story for some reason, sorry !!!
Brian will be so happy to see that Henry has warmed up to his new home. Nice processing here, Pat. Love the touches of color with the b&W and the subtle vignetting.
Tis sunday and some time to turn on this tired old machine much like me..sigh...on a minor point notebooks are all well and good..but....they do not do justice for pictures the big wide screen is a bliss....as an update the mushroom and things has been cleaned off by some old lady with her proverbial hanky shame really, i liked it.
henry looks peaceful nice piccy too the way this coalition is going all oldies will end up with henry....you had better build some more...ha ha..
@tsingtao Wow tsingtao you always make me laugh so much ...it must be your dry northern humour, us northerners must be tuned into the same wave length !!! Thank you for your comments & you get some more photos on 365 !!!!!
Try deleting the "> and I think it will work Pat. I love your Henry shots and I'm glad to see his trademark text on there! Sounds like Brian is a bit of a softy!! How long to sheep live when not destined for the table? I love a bit of lamb but Henry is gorgeous enough (almost) to make me give it up!!
Great shot Pam, he looks all cosy! I remember the original shot - he's a great looking sheep (or should I say cow???!) (Judith is right, you need to take away the "> off the end of the link string)
@judithg@sparkle Thank you both I will try that !! I too love a bit of lamb but it won't be this one !!! I have no idea how long sheep live , will be interesting to see & he is still in good health !!
@judithg I did try must I must have done something wrong as it deleted the whole of the text !!!!! Have had to rewrite it ! Will have to ask Jack what I am doing wrong next time he comes !!!
Henry looks quite happy with his new house. Is he in need of shearing, looks to have a lot of wool on him. The wire twitshed up on the sides of his shelter look a lot like the way we do it here. We call it a cobb&co.

Is this the link? I remember Henry! Glad he's enjoying his new house!
