Follow my leader.

Tui & I went on the river bank this morning for a lovely walk. She had her usual dip in the water & she actually saved a sheeps life too !!! We could see these sheep's legs waving in the air , they can get on their backs & not be able to get up & eventually get so tired struggling to get back on their feet they just give up & die! Anyway Tui soon had her up on her feet again so we were very glad we had walked that way.
The river Wyre is tidal so at high tide the river can be up to 200 yards wide lapping up to the top of these banks...it never went over in our time when we were farming but there were some near do's !!!!! We are walking on the river side here & the fields are on the other side of that bank !
These are what I suppose you would call saltmarsh lamb!!
What a hero! These sheep all seem to be on high ground, looking on in grateful admiration!

What a fortuitous route you took for your walk, Pat! Tui is a true hero! Is she a sheepdog or just good with livestock?
I love this shot of the sheep on the ridge against that beautiful blue sky.

@louisefrance @peggysirk LOL I will tell Tui she is a hero but I am afraid all she did was stick her nose in the sheeps face & it was so frightened it took one tremendous heave & shot up on it's legs !!!!

Well she's a complete superstar in my book even if she was just a needed adrenaline kick!! Love your line of sheep - I've never seen one on its back but if I do I'll know to rescue it!
