Oyster mushroom. by happypat

Oyster mushroom.

The oyster mushroom or Phleurotus meaning ''side ear'' grows in layers on dead deciduous wood.
It is a common edible mushroom used mainly in oriental cookery.
I think it is rather pretty.

Three good things.
1. Cleaned the house all the way through so all spick & span
2.A really nice couple have arrived today for a couple of nights, they are Eddie Stobart fans, I meet such a lovely variety of folk in this job.
3.Tui has had a bath so smells all nice & clean!
Very effective, looks like a dying rose. Fav

@happypat - uhm, since you don't have much of it, maybe you can use it as part of a stir fry mixed with some other veggies.
