Three good things today.
1. Harry bought me the American rocker for our wedding Anniversary present, I am thrilled with it.
2.Made some biscuits & they all turned out beautifully & not one burnt.
3.Great British Bake Off on tonight & I shall sit in my new chair & watch it.
Ooh ooh ooooh!!!! How romantic!! Also now I'm feeling much happier about all of the ironing I need to do - will watch the bake off and iron... Your shot it really funny - all of those knickers. In the 'olden' days we used to watch weird films at Cambridge Arts Cinema and exit via a door that faced the tights display of a department store. It was the 80's so the tights were weird, wonderful and illuminated. It always made for a surreal experience - even if I'd slept through the film.
@judithg It was funny how the whole of the knicker display was straight in your face as you arrived at the top in M&S. All the men looking for a pair of jeans had a real eyeful!!!
Too funny!! I misread number 1 and thought Harry had bought you an American rocket.wow thats exciting, wonder what it is?!!! 1st trip to Mars maybe...............oh a rocker..as in ...what?!! 2 I cooked my cake in too big a tin, glad yours worked!! 3 Happy days!! When is the big day?

What a hysterical shot. I love my rocker as does/ did my husband. He coveted it so when I closed one of my two offices where I had one just like it, I gave that one to him. Now we sit together and have our coffee and talk about our dreams in matching rockers...just like old people, which we are chronocologically!
@jgpittenger Oh my kind of person Jane & just like Darby & Joan we sit either side of the Aga drinking our tea just like you!! Then we are up & off walking or dancing or shopping or doing B&B & mowing the grass etc etc just like you. Mustn't sit too long you get old & considering it is our 50th wedding anniversary tomorrow technically we are!!!
@happypat 50th! Wowee! Not until 2014 for us. Congratulations. Isn't it amazing to grow old with someone who has known you so much of your life. Sometimes it feels as if we have had about 3 marriages (all to each other) given how many life stages we have shared

@jtookey150 Thanks Jean we haven't planned anything special except out with our family for a meal tomorrow night. We might get a few visitors tomorrow perhaps!
What a fantastic anniversary gift! I think I remember you talking about wanting that rocker when you bought your camera instead. That Harry is a keeper...but I guess you've already figured that out! :)

I am American and haven't a clue by what you mean by an "American" rocker. We don't have "British" rockers. Well, except the Beatles. Please enlighten.
