First of all I must thank everyone of you lovely, wonderful friends who commented so favourably on Harry & mines wedding pictures yesterday.
We were overwhelmed at the enthusiasm & kindness you all showed & it made us very humble...everyone of you I would like to thank from the bottler of our hearts, it made our day very special, thank you.
This is my new chair before the cat claimed it, we have now had to cover it with a throw as we re frightened Lily will claw the arms.
It is so comfortable & rocks on its own base. I will be very cosy this winter.
We have had a great day at the Westmoreland Show today so am late commenting & with all the celebrations very behind, sorry will try & catch up later.
That chair is gorgeous!! I'm faving and will save the pic for Nigel for our 25th (he has a couple of years to save up!) Perfect addition to your lovely kitchen. Glad you had a good day yesterday and I am VERY jealous about the Westmoreland Show - I love it there.
A perfect location for your wonderful new chair, Pat! You should be very comfy when the winter winds blow. Harry did very well with that anniversary gift!
Never spotted any dust, just lovely blue and white china a cosy Aga and a divine chair........thats home.......... frankly,. bugger the dust!!! So glad you had a lovely day and well done Harry!! Hurrah!!
Dust under the dresser....!!! I wouldn't dare shoot a shot of my house. I'd rather take pictures, swim, hike, visit with my family and friends, cook, and all such before cleaning. Lovely comfy looking chair
@bpaquette No Barbara it's called an American rocker because of it's rocking system. English rockers have long curved runners that stick out & trip you up besides taking lots of room up. American rockers are much cleverer & rock on their own base. I haven't looked under the bottom bit exactly how it works but is an ingenious idea.
Lovely shot.
Nice homey shot.
