I took my life in my hands taking this photo on our way home the other day. although it looks peaceful here this is actually a very busy road, the traffic was between me & the boats.
Sorry to show you more Lake pictures but as I have nothing better it seems a shame to waste them!!!
Have been to the physio today & my neck is improving lots, only one more treatment hopefully!
Three good things:
1. One of the two cats I am minding next door reappeared this morning after being out all night!
2. Amore Walnut & Greek Honey yoghurt.....my favourite!!!
3. My dads birthday, he would have been 99 today!!
Great capture of these masts. How long has your father not been with you? Yesterday I was talking with my mom about two women friends, one is 103 and the other 106; both in great mental health.
@jgpittenger I like this more now It is uploaded , I am so bored with my straight photos...I feel like doing something different but what? Must have a play with some shutter speeds next week when the B&B rush is over!!! Thank you Jane.
A wonderful scene , but do not take risks to get your pics Pat . glad to hear your neck is feeling better, I have to go to the physio on Monday for a torture session
Lovely masts.if you are bored with your photos come onto our thingy, Bulldog is organising the Novemeber list.........its just your interpretation of a word and can be as inventive as you feel.....stretches the mind, come on Pat you can do it!! Sad about your Father my Mother died at 62 horrible. anyway on brighter things.see you tomorrow!!!
Reminds me of "and the cat came back, the very next day", glad you avoided al the traffic, wonderful processing...am sure your dad would have liked it a lot.
@fannyb Thank you Fanny, I wondered where you got your 'words' from, must have a think about that ..might be too challenging to get the word right. Will watch you for a bit!!
This is simply gorgeous! I love the tones in this shot. Ah, it sounds like a bit of a poignant day for you, Pat, with thoughts of your dad. Hugs to you ~
