Look what I've got! by happypat

Look what I've got!

I was pleased to catch this Wellsummer hen just after she had laid her egg but am cross with myself as I had a big smear on my lens..either that or I was steamed up!
Have cropped the worst bit off as I have not taken any other photo today so it will have to do.

Thank you all for your recent lovely comments on my photos ....it has suddenly struck me how my inside shots of our house looks like blatant advertising, not my intention at all so I will desist in future!!

Three good things:
1. I found two £2 pound coins & some curtain hooks inside the rubber seal in the washing machine.
2.The invention of the pizza wheel.
3.Lazy Sunday afternoons by the fire with the freedom of guilt as I am going on my 5 mile hike tomorrow!!
How was dinner last night? I'd go for free advertising if i were you!! What a lovely hen.....is Wellsummer a breed? The lens was probably steamed up, the temparature contrast, i use a spectacle cleaning cloth or an ecloth!!

I think it was steamed up too Fanny as I was very quick taking the photo after I went outside. A Wellsummer is a breed yes & these particular hens we bred from eggs so they are very special. Dinner was delicious with good company thank you!

That clouding does occur with temperature changes, especially going from cold to a warmer temp

Great capture of the proud hen. I don't mind further shots from the inside of your house. It looks really welcoming and as stated before, if I ever....... So awaiting more shots Pat

Nice crop. The crop adds to it I think. It's as if you are bending down to gather up the newly laid egg.

Nonono, the inside of your house shots are great. Don't stop. Yes they are advertising, but that's good, it makes me want to come and stay!! Love this shot too. I import 50,000 Pizza Wheels a year for a leading retailer, so I second your comment :)
