Trouble with the computer tonight so have had to use one of Harry's holiday photos as I am using his laptop.
This is Munich airport when we were on our way to New Zealand last December.
The Relax part on the left had little pod beds, they were all full!
We didn't mind stopping after one hour forty minutes while on our way out but it was an absolute pain on the way home having to stop so near home & after having travelled for almost twenty four hours!
Three good things:
1. Some good bargains at Boundary Mill today including a white 400 count corded double duvet cover that had been £120 reduced to £37.50 simply because it had been on one of the beds in the store.
2. After a bit of struggling Harry & I have put together the blender thing that I have had in the cupboard for about two years & have never used!!!!
3. Can't think of another tonight but all is well with the world!
Oooh nice shot - you've gone all @sparkle here! Love the idea of the pod beds... Just booked flights to Munich for Nigel and Rachel but they aren't going any further - just to a karate competition.
Everyone must have gone past! Never heard of the pod beds - oh to put your feet up at times! Did you buy the duvet - brilliant price ....and, what are you going to blend?
Love the relax sign and its reflection. A good reminder, especially when travelling. Never heard of these pods - wonder if we even have such a thing here. Makes sense but I'm not sure I could "relax" in full view of the world!
I really like the airport in Munich. Large, but not absurdly large and not very crowded either... A lot of natural light gets in and as you get out from it, it has that awesome "square-like" place... It's one of the best in my opinion. :)
