House number 4. by happypat

House number 4.

Originally two farm workers cottages house number 4 is now just one house & lived in by three people, a couple & their 8 year old son.
Working in Abu Dhabi they are only home for the holidays.
This house looks completely different at the back having a large conservatory & dormer widows which are completely out of character I think anyway. I am showing the houses as you see them from the road so I rather like this aspect...Primrose Cottage & as you can see a rather delicate primrose shade so it lives up to it's name.

Three good things:
1. Harry's long awaited doctors appointment for his knee today.
2. Just enough rain!
3. Weightwatchers Chewy Honeycomb Crunch biscuits....delicious!
These houses would all be about the same era? Would you know which era? I love the name Primrose Cottage and also Rose Cottage but perhaps not Geranium Cottage!

Are the house made of wood? Stone? I like the soft yellow of the house against the bright blue sky.

I'm intrigued that anything so large can be called a cottage. Cool shot though

Pretty and the thought of primroses makes me feel nostalgic.
There were hundreds in the woods beside my primary school!
None here yet but..........hopeful!

Sweet little primrose cottage, I like the view, glad your didn't take a shot from the other side- even though a lovely conservatory isn't too bad either- a pity they only live there on holidays
