A lovely day in Preston today with Lydia shopping. She got loads of stuff for her money in the sales & lovely shirt in Fat Face not in the sale!
Had our lunch out & here we are getting an ice cream each on our way back to the car.
Three good things:
1. Some kind person gave us an all day parking ticket which they didn't need!
2. Seeing Lydia trying on stuff......everything suited her of course!
3. I am hoping for a win on my little flutter on the new babies name!!
@jtookey150 Slightly agree Jean , I thought a young couple might have gone for the possibly more risqué...would have been a good follow on from Alfred the Great!! Played safe instead!!!
See there is a hard and soft option for the icecream! I can't resist the soft variety! Some woman in Australia wanted the name Alan! Can you imagine it!
Nice van!! I wondered if Albert "Bertie' would make an appearance after the King's Speech but I suppose that was never actually a King's name. I had guessed Louis though. There were some funny suggestions at the primary school 'do' I was at - the kids are called all sorts of things now - mostly impossible to know whether girl or boy - gives them chance to change sex if they want!
I too like the name George but would love to have had a Prince Alfie.
