Tui doing her running through crops bit again, this time wheat.
Such splendid & bountiful crops down the fields this year.
The maize is ten foot high & the wheat is ripe & weed free...there is a lot to be thankful for at Harvest Festival this year.
Three good things:
1. Crops to feed the animals & ourselves ....we don't go hungry!!
2. Fish & chip supper in the village tonight.
3. A fascinating read by Alan Johnson called This Boy..( @judithg I am doing my homework!!) Only of interest mostly to UK residents as he is a British MP but a tale of real hardship to success.
Our wheat is looking fabulous though The Archers still seem to think the crop isn't that good! And it has some other sort of grass growing in it - don't know if that will be a problem. Tui is behaving and not trampling the crop. Glad you're enjoying Alan Johnson - hard to believe he's writing about the 50's and 60's. I'm unexpectedly really enjoying Judy Finnegan's book atm - reading it too quick as Nigel is taking forever with my Kindle!
@judithg Surprised at the Archers as everyones crop seems to have done well...they do like a drama!! Must check out Judy Finnegan, I will be ready for a good plot after this one!
Tui did go amongst the rows a bit but she has been brought up as a farm dog so should know better!!!
@lucypics Yes a very different scene Lucy lots of work to be done ....i hope it stays dry or will be a mess getting the maize off! Tui did go off line a bit & I was cringing as she broke stalks!
@happypat Oh well probably not related then, we come from the North East. Did you watch Who do You think you are tonight? An excellent story I thought.
Great POV, Pat! I do love a dog shot!!! Poor Kylie, I keep trying to get one like this and she hates the camera. The running she likes, but that labbie enthusiasm is somewhat overwhelming at times, I am not sure she would stop!
Thank you very much all of you...Tui loves to do her run through the fields barking the whole time I might add!!!

Thank you all for your kind comments ...was a lovely day for a walk & we even saw a baby deer.
Nice PoV and great capture.
