I spotted a baby deer on our walk yesterday. Only a quick glimpse before it ran back into the maize.
I wished I had had my long lens with me!
You will have to view large to see the deer in the distance I'm afraid!!
Three good things:
1. Finished my book & on to the next one...going to try Amanda Prowse next.
2. On the whole, good exam results!
3. A pour on wormer for Lily instead of nearly killing her trying to get tablets down her throat.
You must think me daft --I kept looking at Tui & thinking that can not be a deer --not the right shape or size !!!! Adjusted my glasses which had slipped down mt nose as i had my 40 winks !! & put the shot on large & sure I see him !!! Lovely find ,capture & composed Pat !!
@beryl he he Beryl , I did think of saying the black one is Tui...I know you can hardly see the deer but it was a s good as I could manage!!! I had better put on view large!!
Viewed large you can see the deer quite clearly , they are so timid you did well to get this shot Pat. btw I have got really behind with 365 so sorry my commenting has suffered
And a small miracle that Tui hasn't taken off in hot pursuit - maybe too old and wise! Good news on the exam results - hope they've got what they need.
Good girl, Tui!!! Although she looks rather tuckered out (after the run in the wheat?!?!) Did she seem interested in the fawn? It's a great shot - maybe a happy accident that the fawn was in the clearing and so nicely framed with the shrubs and the wheat.
My camera doesn't have add on lens so I can use my zoom function at all times! However every zoomed picture is slightly fuzzy so I don't post them! I can see the fawn clearly but did need to know it was a fawn! Glad about the School results - so important!
