Knott End by the Sea & these two were running along the shore line having great fun.
I have two men in at the moment for B&B who are overseeing a drilling project in the estuary at Knott End.
Something to do with gas storage in the salt mines along the coast line.
They have been turned down several times by planning but still persist in trying every trick to get their way!
Harry & I went to see if we could see all the men out in the estuary.
Hard work on the men & they are very respectful of the tides which creep in along the gulleys & round the back of them.
The drilling this time is for more information for another application.
What with the fracking two miles away & gas storage across the river we will hardly dare light a match!!!
Three good things:
1. Sunshine back again & a good forecast for the week.
2. My hip pain is much better today, I think that good walk yesterday did me good.
3. Just got to Booths in time before they shut at 4pm.
Beautiful! Such wide open, gorgeous terrain for running...a stunning shoreline!
So glad your hip is feeling better. You don't seem to let anything get you down. :) And the sunshine is good for the soul.
Interesting reading about Knott End-on-sea! Have you been to the Bourne Arms? ...and Hackensall Hall? The beach looks nice and firm for a good run with the dog!
Great expanse of freedom! The drilling sounds a bit strange. I'm becoming more aware of fracking and it seems very bad news. Are they still doing it near you? I hear they have plans near us too. Would like to try and stop them!
@maggiemae We looked into the Bourne Arms today magiemae but don't know where Hackensall Hall is I'm afraid. You are a diligent 365er!! Same as me really I love looking up places & things!
So glad you are feeling better.
Thank you all for your good wishes...my aches & pains come & go a bit but must say have been better with a good work out yesterday!1
