Dipping our boots in the disinfectant at the animal gathering in Abbeystead last Saturday.
After the Foot & Mouth disease hit the UK we are very diligent about spreading disease & dip our feet on entry & on leaving.
By this time of the day it was absolutely chucking it down & most of my photos have a blur of condensation on them.
I have been to Blackpool with Harry today but no time or inclination to carry my big camera aroud although if I had been on my own I would have nipped down to the promenade & taken a few...a filler from Saturday instead I'm afraid!!
Three good things:
1. Size 10 trousers....just!!
2. Easy turkey roast for evening meal courtesy of M&S.
3. A rather interesting new book called Stoner by John Williams, a vintage classic they call it...a nice change after an enjoyable but easier read.
Nice of you to take us walking with you in such pretty country and we can remain dry with dry shoes! The book sounds a bit depressing but apparently has had rave reviews so must be well written!
Love that there is a phone booth out in the middle of seemingly nowhere. It's almost impossible to find a pay phone anymore. Yayayay for size 10! I just wear stuff with an elastic waistband. ;)
I seem to have caught up with you at the weekend on your alternative album! back into mainstream now! yay for size 10...I don't seem to be able to shift my last half stone...though i'm down from a 32" jean to a 30" so something is working!!
