Into the light. by happypat

Into the light.

Sorry a filler for today. This photo was taken just down the road from the man standing in the field yesterday, I liked the light at the crossroads.

Three good things:
1. There is a nail stuck in my offside rear tyre but apparently the nail is also sealing the hole so I shall leave well alone as the tyre is unrepairable but still has plenty of tread.
2. We have blue sky this afternoon!!!
3. Cheap flights to Dublin from Blackpool!!
Nice candid shot

I love to see the hedgerows over there. Seeing the bike come down has given this nice scene, focus! Hope the tyre holds - my experience is that it goes down slowly all the time!

I have no wish to be alarmist but Ray had a tyre problem. It went down but then didn't go down etc. Then one morning when he was due to do his voluntary ambulance car driving it was really flat and he had to have an emergency repair. The culprit was a nail so small it was nearly the size of a sewing needle! Wonder why yours is not able to be repaired.

Into the light...hopefully that's not where his motorcycle will take him anytime soon

Lovely lane and I like the signpost drawing your eye. Great to have a little local airport - Cambridge has started flying to Amsterdam again but Nigel hasn't needed to go since.

Well I'm not sure about being unable to be repaired might be to do with them being run flat tyres....will get a second opinion on that I think! Will ask the garage where it's going for service on the 16th. I will know when there is any air leaking out as it tells me on the dash board so that is a comfort.

Mmmm! Run flats are painful when it comes to repairs. I love this shot though

Lovely in sepia. Another brief moment of panic thinking the poor fellow is on the wrong side of the road and will get clobbered if someone comes around the corner. Yeesh, I will never drive in the UK. Or Japan.

Awesome leading line in this shot!
The soft filtered light is beautiful and the sharp light at the cross road focus attention on the destination of the bike.
Nice composition.
