I have been thinking of all of you on the London meet up today...would have love to have gone but hope to see some fabulous hat pictures!!!!
Three good things:
1. Lunch out with friends today.
2. My free pancake street lens has come.
3. Village hall 'do' tonight with hot pot supper & a great singer.
@annemary Oh that was a shame ...I would have worn one!! Good time anyway by the sounds of it Anne Mary, hope to meet all the people I missed one day !!
a nice composed shot pat, your lydia is a good companion to you, reader your posts about her i'd say it's a terrific grandma / granddaughter relationship ..enjoy the new lens, beware of the ultra wide angle though...i suspect it will be better for landscapes than street photography :)
@phil_howcroft@jgpittenger Thank you Phil, I haven't had time to try it yet...it was a freebie when I bought my camera & has only just arrived. I am lucky enough to live near our UK grandchildren so do see a lot of them.
This pancake lens, their name not mine is allegedly a street lens but I rather like it as it makes my new camera the same size as a compact P&S but I still have the option of adding different lenses.
I must say I am finding the convenience of this camera with less weight & bulk so much better although not as good yet for photos I don't think but am still practising!! You would prefer yours I think Jane but for me who likes street photography I find it ideal!
Well done!
