A good day sorting everything to do with telephone & broadband & I have results!!
Got our MAC code & talked to telephone people & actually got them to agree we have no contract....we leave both at the end of the month.
Polite but firm, that's the way to go!!
No time to take any interesting photos so this is Harry's man shed.
Note all mod cons....the heater on full blast, his radio in a plastic bag with Radio Lancashire playing & all his favourite things in the world...except me of course!!
He was in the house when I took this so no saving of electric here....that fire & the radio are on most of the day.
Three good things:
1. A haircut for me but have done without the extras this time.
2.Results on the telephone.
3. Our meet up with friends for fish & chips tonight in the village.
Are you sure you did not tidy his shed before you took this shot Pat.Whilst Beth our granddaughter who has been staying with us doing her studying using the internet I haven't been able to use my computer so sorry about the lack of comments
@steampowered@padlock@snowy No this is Harry the tidiest person I know. When I go to NZ on my own as I am this time when I get back the house will be tidier than when I set off! Everything has to be in it's place! The farm & animals where all just so when we were farming too...all our children have that same tidy streak too!
@snowy No worries Diana.... I feel bad when I can't comment too & I have so many new followers lately I feel bad because I can't look & comment on everybody!
@bizziebeeme I know it looks tidy Lorna but believe me there is so much stuff in there I can never find anything & woe betide me if I move anything. This is only half of the building so loads of stuff in here.
And the tractor in Harry's she'd is the icing on the cake. Malcolm shed still Is piled high with my clutter I turfed out in the summer. This one looks terribly organised with space to play in the middle.
Crazy that you have to invest so much time and energy into the telephone and internet!! I'm glad you got it sorted! What a great man shed! I like the high ceiling and abundance of light!
I have never seen such a tidy shed in all my life, he would have an awful shock if he saw ours!! Btw thanks for your comments, both of them, I am having a few teething problems regarding what to upload from where, which must be very annoying for anyone who is following us all or only one....sorry.
Its a large shed and doesn't appear to cluttered - heater on all the time? Walls not insulated? Is that a Walker I can see (mower)? John's favourite machine (apart from a Fergie tractor)
Blimey if it was a women's shed (and why not) she'd have remembered to switch the heater and lights off! Wish I had such a beautiful large and tidy shed. I'd build wind turbine in it :-)
Won't show Nigel - he'd be very jealous - he'd have a gym in there and it would be perfectly tidy as well - he is much tidier than I am but I am cleaner. He has been known to take all the books of a shelf, replace them in a 'system' and fail to wipe the dust off in between.
@maggiemae Yes the ride on mower model a Stiga. Harry spends his summers on this thing...loves mowing the grass but it does tend to dominate our lives as one lawn is done so another is wanting doing......bit like painting Blackpool Tower!
Wow, what a neat shed. My husband's shed is huge but very messy. There are a few other differences too. No need for a heater here, too hot, we use fans. Shed not made of wood, ours is brick. The termintes would eat it if it was wood and ours is full of lathes, routers, saws and other woodworking things.
we've seen Harry's shed before Pat and I was impressed by how tidy it was then ...and still is now by the look of it :) ......why does he have his radio in a plastic bag? Surely it muffles the sound !
@phil_howcroft No it's in excellent condition Phil it's a Farm Plus building made of wood & a concrete floor he reckons it gets damp inside & things go rusty so just to be on the safe side etc etc !!!
