Lily had a visitor this afternoon; Rufus aged 7 months came to see us with his mum Susie.
Susie stayed with us for four nights a week while she was working in the area a few years ago.
Lily was very spoilt as she broke house rules & went upstairs to sit with Susie in her bedroom, it took me ages to wean her off going upstairs afterwards.
Rufus has a sister called Imogen & now lives about five miles away.
I have neglected 365 badly over the last 48 hours but I came home from the fish & chip restaurant with a really sore throat & runny nose. I can't remember the last time I had one so I mustn't grumble, they do make you feel out of sorts though!!!
Three good things:
1. I have nothing special to do so can nurse my cold like a big wimp!
2. An invitation from Jack last night to go to a concert at Lancaster uni with him - I am away so can't go but was touched to be asked.
3. Toad in the hole.
It looks like Rufus has bonded with Lily just as his mommy did. Such a cute shot, Pat. Rufus is adorable! I'm so sorry you're feeling puny! I can relate with neglecting 365...I'm just starting to feel human after dealing with an ugly virus, and I was not up to posting and commenting at all! Take care of your sweet self...maybe some tea with lemon and honey, and a good book or a nap. :)
@peggysirk Thank you dear Peggy for your kind thoughts......my nose is running like a drain so difficult to comment ...having a problem with tummy ache at the moment too...just monitoring it to see when it occurs. Oh dear all falling apart!!
Cute candid picture of both of them! Poor you - good thing we can't catch it off you - you probably caught it off someone of course - in the bank or in the fish restaurant? Remember honey and disprin?
What a beautiful shot. Sorry to hear you are under the weather. I have been out of touch with 365 too the last few days, as we have been in Canberra, but in catch up now. Hope you are feeling better soon.
How sweet - they look as entranced as eachother! Hope you feel better soon - inside and wrapped up warm is the best place to be at the moment even if you're not feeling grotty
