Another wet day so got the baking stuff out & made some scones. Harry loves a scone but I so rarely bake these days so tend to buy him some at the bakery.....sold out today so thought I had better get cracking!
Three good things:
1. Wet days make you stay in more & do useful things!
2. February....another month & nearer the Spring weather.
3. Thinking about getting the self tan out & get my legs fit to be seen in the sun!
Yes, I agree with no 1 definitely! And is that pairoct jam? (oops should be apricot - I've left the first spelling so you can see what's happening to my writing skills now that I am totally immersed in photos most days - amazing!) My favourite. Your scones look moreish!
Why is it that men love scones so much! John's favourite is the date scone! I enjoy wet and cold days too for those reasons but not too many at one time! Nice jam you have got here!
Pat, these are gorgeous! I can't imagine buying scones when you turn out these beauties. Those look sooo delicious......................
Fabulously photographed as well!
Mouth watering at this lovely photo!
Sorry haven't been very good at making time for my 365 space in spite of good intentions. Maybe manage better in February!
They look delicious. What a treat. I don't bake scones much these days either, my husband would eat the whole lot in one go. Not good for his waistline.
These look amazing, is it home-made jam too? They seem to like date scones here which are delicious. We just have to have something delicious with our coffee every morning - it serves as lunch!
Yum. A couple of days ago I bought a victoria sponge, one of the those made by the Prue Leith school of cookery, and it was one of the best cakes I've ever tasted. Yum again.
