We have been out all day in the Lake District with our friends. First a walk over a farm trail & then coffee & a scone at Sizergh Barn.
On for a potter round Bo'ness whereI bought my Christmas cards.
We called in St Andrews church were they were just ending the charity fair. I had a go on the tombola & won a can of ginger beer!
If you look carefully you can see the vicar doing the raffle inside.
Taking the flags down after a busy day.
Three good things:
1. A brilliant day & we only got lost once!
2. Managed to get in for our evening meal at the Strickland Arms.......been told about it so much by our kids but never actually been ourselves.....dogs welcome.....we would definitely recommend.
3. We avoided the rain all day.
Sorry still slacking with the commenting but thank you all so much for continuing to comment on mine.
Oh I do envy your ability to get into the Lakes so easily - even on a wet day it has a special charm - I love seeing the streams all swollen and rushing.
