Lakeland bonfire

I have been challenged by Babs @onewing to post three landscape photos over the next three days & challenge three others to do the same!
I am going all Kiwi & nominating @maggiemae, @julzmaioro & @snaphappi to do the same. The landscapes do not need to be taken on the day ....you can use photos taken from your files. Hope this is OK with you all!!
Will look forward to seeing more of NZ hopefully!
Mine was taken on our recent walking day in the Lakes around the Grasmere area.

Three good things:
1. Some good tips re NYC coming from everyone who has been....all very welcome!
2. Watching BBC iPlayer this morning in bed, catching up on The Great Allotment Challenge final with cup of tea & the electric blanket on!
3. Sunday easy meals!

Beautiful Pat -- beautiful colours from the richness of the bracken in the front to the delightful hues of blue, grey , and purples in the distance --And I love the delightful eye catching puff of smoke on the left -- was it a little steam train or smoke from a chimney ?

A beautiful scene and love the low mist in the hillside. I hope the smoke is from a chimney and not a bush fire. If that was in Australia the fire brigade would be there by now. ha ha.

@onewing I expect they would Babs! Occasionally in a really hot summer we have that problem particularly on the fells & the Trough of Bowland but not usually a major problem like you have.
